10 Reasons To Book Tony Kluge Photography for Your Wedding

I know it's hard to decide between the myriad of wedding photographers out there, so I thought I'd make it easy for you!

Here's 10 simple reasons you need to book me for your wedding:

1 Customer service
We really distinguish ourselves here from the start. We respond to all your enquiries within 1 working day, we are professional from start to finish, and we are always available to help, from the moment you book to the moment, well, most of our customers come back to us for family/baby/cherish the dress sessions, so for a very long time really.

2 Value for money
OK, we are not cheap, but then you don’t get a Tiffany ring from Argos. There’s a reason we always refer to your purchase as an investment – there is only one chance at getting photos of your big day, and even less of a chance of getting good photos. It’s your call, but we bet that none of our brides would ever risk having poor photos taken, especially after having spent so much on the day. It is after all, the one thing you will look back on year after year. That’s why people choose us. We provide top notch photography without silly pricing.

3 Experience in bringing an album together
After the day itself, building the album is the most time consuming part of the service we provide, longer even than processing your photos. It takes literally weeks. And so it should  - it is the showpiece from your big day. And it’s taken years of experience to know all the idiosynchracies that are involved, from how a particular manufacturer prints their images, to creating the right ‘flow’ in an album, to the aesthetic layout. At TKP, you are investing in this experience being applied to your wedding.

4 The big day matters
Wedding photography is recognised as one of the most pressured types of photography – things only happen once, people don’t want to spend 3 hours being grouped and posed, people get tired, a little too merry, kiddies don’t want their photos taken, gramps can only stand for 3 minutes at a time, and guests can aimlessly wander. We are experienced time and again at dealing with this, and dealing with it with humour, to make what could be a stressful experience an enjoyable one. Just check our reviews page to see what our customers say themselves.  Experience again matters, being subtle and unobtrusive but strong enough to handle the most awkward situations, and still get great photos. Oh, and the weather – we always have at least one back up plan, and to be honest, they are almost always better than the plan A!

5 Just something extra.
We are wardrobe assistants, hairdressers, mediators, psychics, glass holders, bottle of water finders, negotiators, phew…… and the rest of the time, photographers. We usually are all of the above on the big day, and take great pride in doing so. Whether its plucking confetti out of your hair, pinning up your dress, getting you a drink, keeping stroppy vicars at bay, or telling you the best way to avoid the traffic jam around the corner, there is nothing we shirk from to make your day as easy as possible.

6 Stunning Products
We take the greatest pride in the products that we source. Albums sourced from some of the planet’s best suppliers, to handcrafted canvases made locally, and specialist picture frames that shout class, we only source the absolute best for our customers.

7 Fun
Weddings are about fun, celebration of one of life’s special moments. So no use hiring a grumpy photographer who can’t wait to get home after 2 minutes on the job. We love weddings, and we think this shows, because we’re usually there for the whole day. And we love to joke and have fun with the crowd – it’s always appropriate, but we make sure that the guests enjoy us being there as much as we enjoy photographing the guests. Believe us, it makes all the difference!

8 Something different, something quirky
We think you deserve something unique for your wedding, something absolutely no-one else has. That’s why, as well as taking the regular shots you would expect, at each and every wedding we source out a unique location where we can take your pictures. What does this mean – well we’ve had people in old cement works, on a bakery roof, and just about anywhere that means you don’t get the same old same old.  It’s always done in the best possible taste and we’ve yet to have a customer who hasn’t loved our different approach. Quirky is the name of the game, and many of our customers book us just because of this.

9 You
You are buying into our style, but you know what, you are the customer, and you probably have things that your really like. The more you input as far as a montage board or cutting bits out of magazines or books, the more the photography will be even more individual. We love our customers to input, and then let us run with the ideas.

10 Setting a trend, not following one.
Artistically, we get inspiration from all over the place, including other photographers. But we never copy an entire style, we keep our own. So while ‘vintage’ is the way today, tomorrow it will be (and look) old hat. By keeping a combination of the classical rules that make a good photo, always getting that on the spot inspiration, and never ruling anything out, we believe our photos say something about you as a person for choosing them!
